Production Worker
Job Title:
Production WorkerJob DescriptionThis role involves working in a busy warehouse and production environment to support the movement, sorting, and preparation of finished products for shipment. You will handle loading and unloading trucks and tractor trailers, organize products in designated areas, and use pallet jacks and other basic equipment to ensure efficient and safe operations.

Responsibilities
  • Load and unload trucks and tractor trailers with finished products in a safe and efficient manner
  • Sort products and place them into appropriate bins or designated storage areas within the warehouse
  • Operate pallet jacks to move products throughout the warehouse and production areas
  • Handle general production and general labor tasks as assigned to support daily operations
  • Assist with packing products and preparing them for shipment or storage
  • Use basic hand tools as needed to complete production and warehouse tasks
  • Follow all safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area
  • Work collaboratively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to meet production and shipping schedules.
Essential Skills
  • Experience working as a production worker or in a similar production role
  • Experience working as a warehouse worker or in a warehouse environment
  • Ability to safely load and unload trucks and tractor trailers
  • Proficiency in using pallet jacks to move products within a warehouse
  • Comfort performing general labor and general production tasks
  • Ability to use basic hand tools for packing and related tasks
  • Capability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods
  • Reliability and punctuality to work scheduled shifts from Monday to Friday, 6:00 a.
m. to 4:00 p.m.

Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous experience with packing and shipping activities in a warehouse or production setting
  • Experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment
  • Familiarity with basic safety practices in warehouse and production operations
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and adapt to changing priorities.

The schedule runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m., and the position is offered on a temporary basis with potential for direct hire. The work is physically active and may involve standing, walking, lifting, and working in varying warehouse temperatures. Appropriate work attire suitable for a warehouse and production setting is expected.
