Frederick, Maryland, 21704 About the Role Role is full-time 4/10 role, however the roles and shifts can change with the needs of the dept. Shift times will be directed by the manager or dept leads. (Day Shift), (Swing Shift), Sun-Wed, Wed-Sat, and Thurs-Sun Overview We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Cell Therapy Biomanufacturing Specialist to join our team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the production of advanced cell therapies, ensuring high-quality manufacturing in a fast-paced, regulated environment. The ideal candidate will be passionate about bioprocessing, possess strong laboratory skills, and be committed to maintaining compliance with CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice) standards. Duties Operate and monitor biomanufacturing equipment used in cell therapy production, including sterile processing systems and laboratory instruments. Assist with materials handling, including receiving, storage, inventory management, and packaging of cell therapy products. Support manufacturing activities by preparing media, reagents, and buffers according to standard operating procedures (SOPs). Maintain accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, batch records, and quality control data in compliance with CGMP guidelines. Conduct routine laboratory tests and inspections to ensure product quality and process consistency. Participate in cleaning validation, equipment calibration, and maintenance activities to uphold manufacturing standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams on process improvements utilizing lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow efficiency. Experience Proven laboratory experience within a biopharmaceutical or cell therapy manufacturing environment. Hands-on experience with CGMP regulations and documentation practices. Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as cell culture, media preparation, and materials handling. Experience operating manufacturing equipment including centrifuges, bioreactors, or related machinery is preferred. Strong understanding of lean manufacturing principles to support continuous process improvement initiatives.
