Position Summary The Production Associate / Machine Operator is responsible for operating manufacturing equipment and performing production activities in accordance with established procedures, quality standards, and safety requirements. This position is an important part of the IZI manufacturing team and requires a strong attention to detail, reliability, and commitment to producing high-quality medical devices. The ideal candidate is someone who enjoys hands-on work, can follow detailed instructions, works well independently and as part of a team, and takes pride in doing the job correctly. Key Responsibilities Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently. Follow established work instructions, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and production processes. Perform assembly, machine operation, inspection, packaging, and other manufacturing activities as assigned. Monitor equipment and production processes for proper operation. Perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting within the scope of training and established procedures. Inspect products throughout the manufacturing process to ensure they meet quality specifications. Accurately complete production records, documentation, and other required paperwork. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety, quality, environmental, and regulatory requirements. Meet established production goals while maintaining product quality. Identify and communicate equipment, material, quality, or production issues to the appropriate supervisor. Work collaboratively with team members, maintenance, quality, engineering, and other departments as needed. Participate in training and demonstrate proficiency in assigned manufacturing processes. Follow proper material handling and inventory procedures. Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing, machine operation, assembly, or production experience preferred but not required. Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, cleanroom, or other regulated manufacturing environments is a plus. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately. Ability to work independently with limited supervision. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Good communication and teamwork skills. Ability to learn new equipment, processes, and procedures. Basic computer skills and ability to complete electronic or written production documentation. Mechanical aptitude or previous experience working with machinery is a plus. Physical Requirements Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during the work shift. Ability to perform repetitive hand and arm movements as required by the production process. Ability to use hands and fingers to assemble, manipulate, inspect, and handle small components. Ability to lift and move materials as required for the position. Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE). Ability to work in a manufacturing environment and comply with applicable cleanroom or controlled-environment requirements. 3rd Shift Schedule Monday-Thursday | 9:00 PM-5:00 AM This is a five-day workweek with 8 -hour shifts , providing employees with a consistent schedule with opportunities for overtime.
