Job Description
About the Role As a Production Operator, you will perform an array of functions including maintaining, setup, operations, and cleaning of related production equipment and resolve basic to moderate operating issues. Maintain general housekeeping of related areas and master sanitation schedules (MSS). Operators are responsible for performing job functions while following safety, quality, and General Manufacturing Practices (GMP's), communicating effectively with other departments and meeting production outputs. Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for the efficient operation of the RO, Pasteurizer, and Dryer systems; including but not limited to setup, operation, and cleaning
- Responsible for the cleaning of process tanks and lines
- Responsible for maintaining general cleanliness of the storage tank, RO, pasteurizer and dryer departments
- Responsible for unloading and cleaning of tankers
- Responsible for the efficient operation of the packaging department; including but not limited to setup, operation, and cleaning
- Ensure documentation is legible and accurate
- Perform routine cleaning and preventative maintenance
- Ensures the master sanitation schedule and quality assurance programs are fulfilled on time
- Print out product labels
- Complete all documentation as required
- Maintains safe working conditions for employees and compliance with all state and federal regulations
- Dedicate effort to safety as we expect every employee to leave work in the same condition as they arrive
- Follow Veos-USA good manufacturing practices (GMP's) and work in a manner consistent with regulatory, food safety, quality, and sanitation requirements
- Adhere to all Veos-USA Quality, Safety, and GMP policies and procedures and report any nonconformity
- Attend required training, including but not limited to Safety, GMP, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Point (HACCP), and Safe Quality Foods (SQF)
