Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and capable Lead Warehouse & Operations Coordinator to help run the day-to-day operations of our manufacturing and distribution facility. This is a hands-on lead position. The right person will be responsible for shipping and receiving, inventory organization, coordinating daily production needs, communicating with customers and freight carriers, and helping keep the operation running smoothly. This person will work closely with our Operations Manager, who oversees multiple facilities, so we need someone who can take ownership of daily responsibilities and solve routine problems independently. Responsibilities Manage daily shipping and receiving Prepare Bills of Lading (BOLs), packing slips, shipping labels, and freight paperwork Schedule and coordinate UPS, FedEx, LTL, and freight pickups Communicate with customers regarding shipping, routing, and order requirements Communicate with vendors and freight carriers as needed Print and review daily customer orders Coordinate picking, packing, assembly, and production priorities Communicate production and QC requirements to the team Perform basic production scheduling Receive incoming materials and verify quantities against packing lists and purchase orders Count and accurately record received inventory Maintain warehouse and rack locations Monitor what inventory is on hand and what is currently on order Perform cycle counts and help maintain inventory accuracy Use basic inventory software, including Katana Maintain organized filing and operational records Coordinate routine equipment maintenance and report mechanical issues Order routine office, warehouse, and shipping supplies Operate a forklift and assist with loading/unloading trucks Assist with assembly, packaging, and production when needed Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse Help train and direct warehouse/picker-packer employees Requirements Previous warehouse, manufacturing, shipping/receiving, or operations experience Comfortable using computers, email, shipping software, and basic inventory systems Experience preparing BOLs and shipping freight preferred Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Able to communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and freight carriers Comfortable taking responsibility and working independently Mechanically inclined and comfortable around manufacturing equipment Forklift experience strongly preferred Ability to lift materials and work on your feet throughout the shift Reliable, punctual, and trustworthy Supervisory or lead experience is a plus Must be able to pass a background check Ideal Candidate We are looking for someone who is: Organized Dependable Comfortable making routine decisions Good with customers and vendors Comfortable working both at a computer and on the warehouse floor Able to keep track of multiple orders and priorities Willing to jump in wherever needed This is a strong opportunity for someone looking to take ownership of a small manufacturing and warehouse operation and grow with the company.
