Schedule:

Mon-Thurs, 3:00pm-1:45am (First day start time: 2:00pm) Build Your Career in Quality & Manufacturing Kelly® Services is seeking motivated Inspection Associates to join a leading custom glass manufacturing team in Southeast Grand Rapids. If you are detail-oriented and ready to grow your skills in manufacturing and quality, this is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience and advance your career.

Key Responsibilities:

Inspect painted and fabricated glass components for quality standards and customer specifications Identify scratches, chips, color variations, shape differences, and other defects Review drawings, work instructions, and customer requirements Use measurement tools, including tape measures, digital gauges, and templates Accurately record inspection results and report quality concerns Perform quality checks throughout the production process Collaborate with production team members and supervisors to resolve quality issues Support process improvements and internal quality audits Organize packaging materials and assist with packing and moving finished products Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work space Support additional production activities and contribute to a positive team environment

Qualifications:

High attention to detail and ability to identify product defects Ability to follow instructions, drawings, and specifications Experience with inspection or measurement tools preferred Previous manufacturing, quality inspection, or glass production experience is a plus Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills Safety-focused and eager to learn new skills Ability to stand for extended periods and safely lift/move glass materials Comfortable working in a production environment with required PPE Why Join Kelly?
