Slitter Line Helper•2nd
Shift Pay:
$17.00•$19.00/hr
Shift:
2nd Shift (3:00 PM•1:00 AM) About the Role We are seeking dependable and motivated Slitter Line Helpers to join our growing manufacturing team on 2nd Shift . In this role, you will work alongside the Slitter Operator to support the safe and efficient processing of steel coils while helping maintain production, quality, and safety standards. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to build a long-term career in manufacturing. Previous steel processing or manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. Responsibilities Assist with setup and operation of steel slitting equipment Load, thread, and process steel coils Support tooling changes and production changeovers Band, package, label, and tag finished material Ensure proper material identification throughout production Remove and handle scrap material safely Inspect material for visible defects and quality concerns Maintain a clean and organized work area using 5S principles Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements Work closely with operators and team members to achieve production goals Perform other duties as assigned Qualifications Strong work ethic and reliable attendance Ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment Basic mechanical aptitude Team-oriented with strong communication skills Ability to stand, lift, bend, and work in an industrial setting Manufacturing, machine operation, material handling, forklift, or steel industry experience is a plus, but not required Why Join Us?
