Job Description:
Key Responsibilities- Support the ongoing activities of onsite Client customer team at automotive production facilities by communicating cross-functionally to understand customer concerns, collecting data, and taking appropriate actions to help resolve customer issues.
- Ensure plant operations are functional and provide the customer with proactive support as needed.
- Communicate updates to Client Technical and account management effectively and efficiently.
- Perform tasks at the direction of the Client leadership while ensuring Health, Safety, and Environmental protocol is always followed.
- Provide resolutions to customer inquiries, application process monitoring, inventory monitoring, material ordering, and hands-on support, generating reports as necessary.
- Effectively explains complex ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences to ensure customer needs are met.
- Participate in weekly meetings with technical experts to review site projects and activity.
- Engage daily with customers to provide feedback from collected data; answer questions and provide recommendations as needed.
- Record weekly inventories, place material orders and communicate status both externally and internally.
- Use Client digital tools to capture critical data and facilitate problem solving.
- Provide sales support to maintain/expand business and ensure effective start-up of new products.
- Support any special projects needed. Qualifications
- This position is a floater position to help coverage within the Shop
- Working a 2nd Shift or 3rd shift, Flexibility along with occasional mornings. Weekends.
- HS diploma or equivalent is required - Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets), Word, PowerPoint, etc.)
- Comfortable working in a customer production environment, around automated equipment, and be able lift ~30 lbs. on a limited basis.
- Works collaboratively with team members to address and overcome challenges.
- Demonstrated strength in fostering clear, collaborative communication at every organizational level.
