Smurfit Westrock seeks a Production Associate to support high-volume paper-based packaging manufacturing. In our safety-focused, performance-driven plant, you will operate and monitor production and converting equipment, perform quality checks, and handle materials to meet schedules and specifications. Responsibilities include following strict safety and housekeeping standards, recording production data, assisting with changeovers and basic troubleshooting, and supporting 5S and continuous improvement. Responsibilities Operate and monitor paper-based packaging and converting equipment safely and efficiently. Perform quality checks on materials and finished products per specifications. Follow all safety, housekeeping, and environmental procedures and policies. Set up, load, and unload materials; perform basic machine adjustments and changeovers. Accurately record production data and downtime in systems or logs. Collaborate with team members and maintenance to resolve production issues promptly. Support continuous improvement, 5 S, and waste-reduction initiatives. Assist with routine cleaning and minor preventive maintenance of equipment.
