BRING DESIGNS TO LIFE. SUPPORT THE FLOOR. KEEP GREAT ART MOVING. THE OPPORTUNITY
At Lakeshirts, we're in the memory-making business, creating bold designs for apparel and accessories people love to wear. We're looking for a Production Artist to support our screenprint production floor and help ensure artwork is accurate, production-ready, and aligned with Lakeshirts standards. This is an onsite position in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, where you'll work closely with artists, leads, and production teams to problem-solve, update artwork, and keep orders moving efficiently through production. If you're detail-oriented, comfortable in Adobe Illustrator, and excited to support a team producing high-volume, high-quality products, you'll fit right in. Working at the center of our screenprint production environment means no two days are exactly alike. You'll balance multiple priorities, communicate across departments, and help identify opportunities to improve quality and consistency while supporting our customers and production teams.

PM Pay:
$17.00/hour

Build hands-on production art experience while partnering with artists, production teams, and department leads to improve quality, efficiency, and production-ready artwork.

A TYPICAL DAY
Review and prepare artwork using Adobe Illustrator to meet screenprint production standards. Identifymissing or damaged screens and coordinate re-burns as needed. Update artwork and communicate production issues to support continuous improvement. Partner with leads and production teams tomaintain high-quality output and consistent standards. Track and document errors or inconsistencies to improve Production Artist file readiness. Support daily workflow activities including DTS sending, namedrop updates, art proofs, and production support tasks. Adjust priorities throughout the day based on production schedules and department needs. SKILLS Associate's orBachelor's degree in Graphic Design required. Proficient in Adobe Illustrator and comfortable working with digital artwork and production files. Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple interruptions. Effective verbal and written communicator with solid time management skills. Self-starter who enjoys collaborating across departments and solving problems. Reliable, flexible, and comfortable working in an onsite production environment with changing priorities and temperature variations. Ability to work independently while supporting a fast-paced team environment.
