Job Description

Optical Lab Production worker Company Overview RLVNT is a leader in eyewear solutions for outdoor enthusiasts. We design high-quality sunglasses and fishing tackle, along with actively developing innovative gear for other outdoor experiences. Based in Finlayson, our brand is experiencing rapid growth on a national scale, prompting the need for additional team members to support our production efforts. Summary We are looking for a self-motivated individual with a high attention to detail to join our production team in an optical lab setting.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Operating ophthalmic machinery (e.g. box coaters, lensometer, edging equipment). Finish lab experience, including edging, mounting, and inspecting lenses for possible damage. Utilize hand tools and power tools for fabrication tasks as required. Monitor production processes to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality control measures. Assist in maintaining a clean and organized work environment within the manufacturing facility. Inventory management. A dedicated focus on quality and safety. Participate in training sessions to enhance skills and knowledge related to production operations.
DESIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
Attention to detail with a commitment to producing the highest quality products in the fishing and ophthalmic industries. Optical lab experience is highly preferred but is not required. Experience in a manufacturing environment or production is preferred but is not required. Experience in surface equipment is a plus. Experience operating a hardcoater. Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot (with oversight!). Ability to work on an assembly line with a few coworkers. We're a small team, and you'll likely be working with 3-5 others. Ability to stand on your feet 8 hours a day (we do pad the floors with safety materials, of course). Good physical stamina for lifting, standing, and performing repetitive tasks throughout the shift. From $16.50 to $20.50 per hour depending on Optical experience Expected hours: 40 per week
