Fantastic, full-time job opportunity working in a fast-paced environment! Are you the person other embroidery operators go to when a machine isn't running right? We're looking for an experienced Assistant Embroidery Sewing Lead who knows how to troubleshoot embroidery problems, dial in machines, maintain quality, and help a production team perform at a higher level. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who understands commercial embroidery beyond simply loading a design and pressing start. You'll play an important role in improving machine consistency, catching quality issues early, helping operators follow the correct process, and keeping embroidery production running smoothly. Barudan experience is strongly preferred. What You'll Do Dial in embroidery machines for consistent, high-quality production Troubleshoot tension, thread breaks, registration, trimming, looping, puckering, and other embroidery issues Adjust needles, bobbins, tensions, backing, machine settings, and setup as needed Perform quality checks throughout the production process Catch and correct problems before they become large production issues Make sure embroidery operators follow established quality and production checklists Verify hooping, placement, thread colors, backing, design setup, and finished embroidery quality Help standardize machine performance and embroidery quality across multiple machines Assist operators with hats, difficult garments, specialty embroidery, and challenging designs Train and coach embroidery operators on proper techniques and procedures Help hold the team accountable to established processes and quality expectations Support production flow and help keep orders moving efficiently Step in and operate embroidery equipment when needed Communicate machine, quality, and production concerns to management What We're Looking For 5+ years of commercial embroidery machine operating experience required Strong embroidery troubleshooting and machine setup experience Strong understanding of tension, needles, bobbins, thread, backing, hooping, and placement Ability to recognize embroidery quality problems and determine the cause Barudan embroidery machine experience strongly preferred Previous leadership, lead, training, or supervisory experience preferred Strong attention to detail Good communication and coaching skills Comfortable holding others accountable to procedures and quality standards Mechanical mindset and strong problem-solving ability Authorized to work in the U.S. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment Why This Role Is Different This position is ideal for an experienced embroidery professional who wants to have a bigger impact on the production floor. Pay Range:
$22-$26 per hour Starting pay will be based on overall embroidery experience, troubleshooting ability, Barudan experience, and previous leadership experience. Signature Concepts offers benefits to full-time employees including health insurance, a 401K plan, and paid time off. We are open 8 AM to 5 PM Monday through Friday.
