In this role, you will develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs that support innovative, sustainable flexible packaging operations. Responsibilities include conducting safety audits and risk assessments, ensuring compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other regulations, leading incident investigations, and coordinating hazardous waste management. You will deliver engaging EHS training, track key safety metrics, and partner closely with production, maintenance, and engineering teams to improve processes. Responsibilities Develop, implement, and maintain EHS programs, policies, and procedures for manufacturing operations Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments across production areas Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local regulations Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and corrective action plans Deliver EHS training and toolbox talks to employees and supervisors Monitor and analyze EHS metrics to drive continuous improvement initiatives Coordinate hazardous waste handling, storage, and disposal activities Support emergency response planning, drills, and preparedness activities Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and engineering on safe work practices Promote a safety-first culture aligned with Pro Ampac's sustainability and quality goals Required Skills Occupational safety and health regulations (OSHA) Environmental compliance (EPA, air, water, waste) Risk assessment and hazard analysis Incident investigation and root cause analysis EHS program development and implementation Safety and compliance training delivery Data analysis and EHS metrics reporting Hazardous materials and waste management Emergency response planning Written and verbal communication in industrial settings
