$17.00 About the Position We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Vinyl Layer to join our sign shop production team. This position is responsible for applying vinyl graphics to a variety of sign substrates and ensuring every finished sign meets our quality standards. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, has a good eye for detail, and understands that clean, accurate vinyl application is an important part of producing a professional-looking sign. Responsibilities Apply cut vinyl, printed vinyl, and specialty vinyl to signs and other substrates Weed and mask vinyl graphics accurately Measure, align, and position graphics according to production drawings and specifications Apply vinyl to aluminum, ACM, acrylic, PVC, corrugated plastic, vehicles, and other surfaces Properly prepare surfaces before vinyl application Use squeegees, knives, application tape, heat guns, and other sign-production tools Identify and correct bubbles, wrinkles, lifting edges, and other application issues Read work orders and follow production instructions Inspect finished work for accuracy, alignment, cleanliness, and overall quality Maintain a clean and organized work area Safely handle materials, tools, and equipment Work efficiently to meet production deadlines Assist other areas of the sign shop when needed What We're Looking For Previous vinyl application or sign-shop experience preferred Strong attention to detail Good hand-eye coordination Ability to accurately measure and follow instructions Comfortable working with hand tools Ability to work independently while also being part of a production team Reliable and dependable Good work ethic and positive attitude Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical production work Willingness to learn and improve new skills Experience With Any of the Following Is a Plus 3M, Avery, Oracal, or other professional sign vinyl Vehicle graphics or wraps Large-format printed graphics Vinyl plotters/cutters Laminators Sign fabrication Digital printing Reading sign layouts or production drawings What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Full-time hours Benefits Paid Time Off Health Insurance Opportunities to learn additional sign-production skills A hands-on work environment where quality craftsmanship matters The Right Person for This Job We're looking for someone who cares about the finished product .
