Production Associate Job Description Join our dynamic production team as a Production Associate, where you will play a crucial role in ensuring smooth production operations. This entry-level position offers the opportunity to work on the production line alongside a dedicated team, engaging in various tasks such as preparing production lines, operating equipment, and maintaining quality standards. Responsibilities + Follow all safety and quality guidelines. + Assist in preparing the production line for runs, including safety checks and staging raw materials. + Conduct production counts, quality checks, and record downtime. + Operate all production equipment according to defined standards and product specifications. + Handle raw materials properly. + Identify and report potential quality issues. + Maintain cleanliness and order in production and warehouse areas, adhering to SOPs and GMPs. + Keep the company in compliance with certifications such as Organic, Kosher, HACCP , and SQF . + Maintain 5S standards in the production department. Essential Skills + Knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices ( GMP ), safety, and PPE requirements. + Good communication and teamwork skills. + Basic reading and math skills. + Basic computer skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Previous food manufacturing experience is strongly preferred. + Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus. + Knowledge of manual and power jack operation (training provided as necessary). + Redzone experience is a plus. + Ability to lift 55 lbs. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Kansas City, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $19.00/hr.
