Smurfit Westrock, a global leader in sustainable paper-based packaging, is seeking a Production Worker to support safe, efficient operation of our manufacturing lines in Sandy Springs, GA. In this role, you will load materials, tend equipment, monitor product quality, and help keep the production area clean and organized. You'll follow detailed work instructions and strict safety procedures while supporting recycling and waste reduction. This position offers hands-on experience in large-scale manufacturing with opportunities to grow into advanced production, maintenance, or supervisory roles. Responsibilities Operate and monitor production and packaging equipment safely and efficiently. Load materials, stage supplies, and keep lines stocked to maintain throughput. Perform visual and dimensional quality checks and remove defective product. Follow all safety policies, use required PPE, and maintain a clean, organized work area. Record production data, downtime, and material usage accurately. Assist with changeovers, setups, and basic equipment adjustments as directed. Communicate issues to leads or maintenance for timely resolution. Support recycling, waste reduction, and sustainability practices on the floor. Follow standard work instructions and participate in continuous improvement activities. Collaborate with team members across shifts to meet production and quality targets.
