Day Shift The Take-Up Operator 1 is an essential part of the extrusion team, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality output. This role supports the line operator during changeovers, performs the final quality check on products, and operates equipment such as the rework line and re-spooler. As a Take-Up Operator, you'll be responsible for safely running the take-up equipment and printers, keeping production on schedule, and maintaining product standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate take-up machines, printers, the rework line, and the re-spooler. Inspect reels and spools for damage, load/unload them as needed, and keep materials flowing. Maintain printers and ensure product print is accurate. Read and follow production orders (BOMs). Measure product diameter (O.D.) and inspect insulated products for quality. Gather and prepare raw materials, reels, and supplies for production. Assist the operator with machine changeovers. Keep work areas clean, organized, and compliant with ISO and safety standards. Properly handle hazardous waste and use systems (such as Advaris) correctly.
