Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated 2nd Shift Production Worker specializing in automotive manufacturing to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the assembly and production processes during the second shift, ensuring high-quality output and adherence to safety standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical skills, familiarity with factory environments, and a commitment to continuous process improvement. Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment and hand tools to assemble automotive parts accurately and efficiently Utilize measuring instruments and interpret technical drawings to ensure precise assembly and quality standards Manage heavy lifting tasks safely while adhering to manual handling protocols Conduct routine inspections using measuring devices and ensure components meet specifications Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with safety standards in production environments Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements Interpret production documents, work orders, and technical instructions to support manufacturing activities Use power tools and mechanical assembly techniques to complete tasks on the assembly line Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing area, including warehouse spaces Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and quality benchmarks Qualifications Proven factory experience in an automotive or manufacturing setting preferred Demonstrated proficiency with forklift operation, hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and technical documentation Experience with manufacturing management systems or lean manufacturing principles is advantageous Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting safely and effectively Familiarity with safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocols Previous experience working on assembly lines or in a warehouse environment is desirable Good communication skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach towards process improvement Candidates who thrive in fast-paced environments, demonstrate technical proficiency, and are committed to safety excellence are encouraged to apply.
