Hours will vary depending on production, restock, and order volume About Conjure Cleaning Conjure Cleaning is a Durham-based spiritual business rooted in Hoodoo, Rootwork, and Black spiritual traditions. We create handcrafted spiritual oils, sprays, powders, candles, baths, and related products with careful attention to quality, cultural integrity, cleanliness, and spiritual intention. We are hiring dependable, detail-oriented team members to assist with making products, preparing inventory, packaging orders, and supporting fulfillment. This is a spiritual product-production position— not a residential cleaning position. Position Overview The Spiritual Product Production & Fulfillment Assistant will work directly with the owner of Conjure Cleaning during scheduled production sessions, restocks, and high-volume order periods. This is a hands-on role that requires accuracy, cleanliness, patience, discretion, and the ability to follow detailed instructions. Because the work involves spiritually formulated products and culturally significant traditions, we are especially interested in applicants with a genuine interest in or experience with spirituality, Hoodoo, Rootwork, herbalism, candle work, or related practices. Prior professional product-making experience is not required. Paid training will be provided.

Responsibilities Responsibilities may include:

Preparing spiritual oils, sprays, powders, candles, baths, and related products Measuring, blending, pouring, filling, and assembling products according to established instructions Dressing and preparing candles Bottling and labeling finished products Packaging customer orders for shipment Inspecting products for accuracy, consistency, appearance, and quality Preparing ingredients, containers, labels, and materials before production Cleaning and sanitizing tools, surfaces, containers, and production areas Organizing ingredients, packaging materials, and finished inventory Counting inventory and identifying supplies that need to be restocked Following safety, sanitation, confidentiality, and quality-control procedures Protecting confidential company formulas, processes, and customer information Assisting with other production and fulfillment duties as assigned Paid Training and Introductory Period Selected candidates will complete a paid, hands-on training and introductory period lasting approximately two to three weeks. Employees will receive $17 per hour for every scheduled hour of training, practice, production, labeling, packaging, cleaning, and other assigned work.

Spiritual and Cultural Fit This is not a conventional warehouse or manufacturing position. Spiritual intention, cultural respect, and discretion are important parts of the working environment. Schedule and Hours This is an on-site, part-time position with hours scheduled according to Conjure Cleaning's production needs. Work may be concentrated around product launches, restocks, classes, and high-volume order periods. Weekly hours are not guaranteed and may vary. Applicants should be comfortable with an as-needed schedule and communicating their availability in advance.
