We are currently seeking a candidate for the 3rd Shift Pellet Mill / Systems Operator role in our Laurinburg, NC facility.

JOB SUMMARY

The Systems Operator will operate, set up, and adjust all machines and equipment in a computer-controlled manufacturing system.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES SYSTEMS OPERATIONS

Perform a variety of associated functions to maintain continuous operation of the system and to ensure conformance to production and quality standards Monitor instruments to ensure proper production conditions Regulate or shut down equipment during emergency situations, as directed by supervisory personnel Draw samples of products and conduct quality control tests to monitor processing and to ensure that standards are met Record operating data such as process conditions, test results, or instrument readings Confer with technical and supervisory personnel to report or resolve conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or product quality QUALITY Maintain and verify that all current quality assurance measures are being followed and communicated to supervisors, production employees, office personnel, and customers. Assist in the implementation of new procedures as needed SAFETY Operate equipment as per the SOP, following directions as provided Keep work area clean and organized Utilize all of the required PPE as required by the task being performed. environment and the equipment must be properly maintained while in operation Help keep others safe in the workplace by looking out for them and participating in safety-related improvements Follow the safety protocols for the use of mobile equipment Report any accident, injury, and/or damages to Supervisor immediately

OTHER ACTIVITIES

Available to work on any assigned shift including scheduled overtime Establish personal growth and work with fellow employees towards continuous improvement and teamwork

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Ability to lift 25-50lbs regularly Ability to respond quickly to sounds Ability to move safety over uneven terrain or in confined spaces Ability to see and respond to dangerous situations Ability to work in extreme weather Ability to wear personal protective gear correctly
