About the Role As a Metal Fabrication Specialist, you will play a critical role in transforming raw materials into high-quality components through precision machining and forming. You will utilize your expertise in CNC laser and press brake operations to ensure production efficiency and deliver superior results for our clients. Responsibilities Execute complex setups and adjustments on CNC laser and press brake machinery to meet rigorous quality and production standards. Perform essential fabrication tasks including cutting, bending, punching, and deburring based on detailed engineering specifications. Drive operational success by maintaining accurate inventory levels and documenting production data for reporting purposes. Ensure a culture of safety by strictly adhering to workplace guidelines and performing routine equipment maintenance. Collaborate with the team to optimize production workflows and assist in training colleagues to enhance overall department skill levels. Conduct thorough quality inspections to verify that finished components meet precise design requirements before final processing. Qualifications Required Skills High school diploma or GED equivalent. 3-5 years of hands-on experience operating and setting up CNC laser and press brake equipment. Proficiency in interpreting complex blueprints and technical drawings. Strong ability to utilize precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and protractors. Demonstrated capability to lift at least 30 lbs and perform physical tasks safely. Solid understanding of machining tooling, work-holding systems, and safety protocols. Preferred Skills Associate degree in a related technical field. Proven track record of effective multi-tasking in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Basic computer literacy and experience navigating Windows-based operating systems.
