Production & Packaging Operators -
All Shifts Job Type:
Full-time Schedule:
12-hour day or night shifts on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule
Experience:
No previous manufacturing experience required We are hiring dependable Production and Packaging Operators for both day and night shifts. These positions support the production and packaging of paper products in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Depending on the assigned position, team members may hand-pack products, prepare cartons, stack finished goods onto pallets, inspect products for quality, or safely operate downstream production equipment. Training will be provided.
Available Shifts Day Shift:
7:00 a.m.-7:00 p.m.
Night Shift:
7:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.
Schedule:
Rotating 2-2-3 schedule Under a 2-2-3 schedule, employees work two days, have two days off, work three days, and then follow the opposite rotation the following week. This schedule provides every other weekend off. Overtime may be required on scheduled days off when needed to cover vacancies and maintain production. What You'll Do Hand-pack paper products into cartons and prepare them for shipment Stack finished products onto pallets according to required configurations Safely operate or assist with downstream production and packaging equipment Inspect materials, finished products, labels, and packaging for quality Document quality inspections according to product specifications Prepare raw materials for the production process Set up tape machines and replace tape as needed Inspect carton seals and verify correct label placement Ensure cartons and product rolls are positioned correctly Complete start and cut applications and inspect cut quality Insert core plugs into products when required Safely operate baling equipment and properly secure and label waste bales Monitor equipment and workflow to maximize production uptime Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area Follow all safety procedures and production requirements Perform other production-related duties as assigned What We're Looking For No previous manufacturing experience required Reliable attendance and punctuality Ability to follow instructions and accept constructive feedback Ability to work effectively as part of a team Strong attention to quality and safety Ability to solve routine production problems Ability to accurately read a standard and metric tape measure Ability to safely use tools and equipment within the production operation Willingness to work required overtime when necessary Physical Requirements Ability to consistently lift up to 25 pounds and occasionally lift up to 50 pounds Ability to stand and walk for the duration of a 12-hour shift Ability to stoop, bend, reach, and perform repetitive tasks Ability to step up and down from production platforms Ability to perform work requiring close vision, color recognition, depth perception, and focus adjustment Benefits Eligible employees may have access to a comprehensive benefits package that includes: Medical, dental, and vision coverage Retirement savings plan with company match Paid vacation and sick time Holiday bonus Employee assistance program Health and wellness resources Additional company-sponsored benefits We are an equal opportunity employer. Pay Details:
$17.00 to $17.50 per hour Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
