Full Job Description Opportunity:
ENCON Industries, LLC is a manufacturer of wastewater and process evaporation and drying systems for industrial and commercial applications based in Hooksett, NH. The Manufacturing Assistant supports day-to-day production, shop organization, parts handling, and facility upkeep within a manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for assisting with production preparation, maintaining organized inventory and workspaces, supporting shipping operations, and performing general shop and facility maintenance tasks. The ideal candidate is dependable, mechanically inclined, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial setting. Competitive salary with Bonus potential.

  • Perform deburring, grinding, drilling, tapping, and other secondary machining operations
  • Label, organize, and prepare manufactured parts for assembly or shipment
  • Assist machinists, fabricators, and production personnel with general shop tasks
  • Maintain clean and organized production areas
  • Operate basic hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Support production flow by staging materials and components Stock Room & Parts Management
  • Receive, stock, and organize inventory, materials, and parts
  • Track and maintain stock levels for consumables and production supplies
  • Prepare parts kits and organize components for manufacturing jobs
  • Assist with inventory counts and stockroom accuracy
  • Ensure proper labeling and storage of parts and materials Shipping & Receiving
  • Prepare orders and equipment for shipment
  • Package parts and equipment to company standards
  • Load and unload deliveries and freight shipments
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers and maintain shipping documentation
  • Inspect incoming shipments for damage or discrepancies Shop & Facility Maintenance
  • Perform general shop cleaning and maintenance duties
  • Assist with facility upkeep, repairs, and organization
  • Maintain shop tools, equipment, and workstations
  • Remove scrap materials and maintain safe walkways and work areas
  • Support preventative maintenance activities as needed Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Manufacturing, warehouse, shop, or industrial experience preferred
  • Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with hand and power tools
  • Ability to read labels, work instructions, and basic drawings
  • Forklift experience is a plus
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Reliable attendance and strong work ethic Physical Requirements
  • Ability to lift up-to 50lbs. regularly
  • Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the workday
  • Comfortable working in an industrial/manufacturing environment
  • Ability to safely operate shop equipment and tools Work Environment
  • Manufacturing and fabrication shop environment
  • Exposure to machinery, metal dust, noise, and industrial equipment
  • Required use of personal protective equipment (PPE) Pay is commensurate with experience and certification levels attained.
