This is an opportunity to play a key role in daily operations by keeping production moving, supporting a motivated team, and ensuring customers receive quality products on time. Success in this role comes from being organized, proactive, and comfortable jumping in wherever needed. You'll work closely with operations, planning, inventory, and quality teams to keep production running efficiently while fostering a safe and positive work environment. What You'll Be Doing Every day brings a new opportunity to improve workflow, solve problems, and support your team.
Your responsibilities will include:
Leading day-to-day manufacturing activities to achieve production and delivery targets. Working directly alongside production employees, including assisting with assembly and production tasks when necessary. Coordinating production priorities with other operations personnel. Keeping production schedules on track while quickly addressing changing priorities or unexpected challenges. Ensuring employees have the materials, tools, equipment, and information needed to maintain uninterrupted workflow. Monitoring inventory at production workstations and supporting replenishment efforts. Conducting routine quality checks throughout the manufacturing process to ensure products meet established standards. Supporting product testing, documentation, and final inspections before completed products move to shipping. Managing product rework and returned merchandise when required. Completing production reporting and inventory transactions accurately within the company's ERP system. Training new team members while promoting standardized work practices. Maintaining an organized, clean, and safety-focused production environment using Lean and 5S principles. Identifying opportunities to improve efficiency, quality, and overall production performance. What Makes You a Great Fit We're looking for someone who enjoys leading by example and isn't afraid to roll up their sleeves.
Ideal candidates will bring:
Five or more years of experience in a manufacturing, production, or warehouse environment. Previous experience leading or coordinating production teams. Strong mechanical aptitude with hands-on assembly or manufacturing experience. Working knowledge of production scheduling, inventory control, and manufacturing workflows. Experience using an ERP system to manage production and inventory transactions. Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, or 5S methodologies. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize competing demands. Strong communication and problem-solving abilities. A collaborative leadership style with a commitment to safety, quality, and employee development. Why This Opportunity? This position offers the chance to join a stable and growing manufacturing organization where leadership is visible, teamwork is valued, and operational excellence is a priority. You'll have the opportunity to make meaningful improvements, mentor employees, and play an important role in the success of the operation. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and take pride in building high-performing teams, we'd like to hear from you.
