Pay Rate $18.00/hour Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire Position Overview We are seeking reliable/ mechanically inclined Machine Attendants to support the company's growing solar component machining and assembly operation. The Machine Attendant will operate and monitor purpose-built/ semi-automatic production equipment and perform a combination of machine tending/ material loading/ quality inspection/ hand assembly/ packing/ scrap management/ and routine equipment troubleshooting. Candidates should demonstrate mechanical aptitude/ familiarity with basic hand and power tools/ attention to detail/ dependability/ and the ability to follow a logical process when resolving routine equipment problems. Primary Duties- Operate assigned semi-automatic production equipment.
- Load raw materials and components into machines.
- Monitor machine operation throughout the production cycle.
- Respond to machine stoppages and alarms.
- Use HMI messages to identify the affected machine sensor or production station.
- Follow established troubleshooting procedures to resolve routine machine errors.
- Perform basic adjustments and tool changes following training.
- Perform dimensional inspections using calipers/ gauges/ and other measuring devices.
- Compare measurements and finished components against work prints and specifications.
- Perform visual quality inspections.
- Identify and segregate nonconforming or scrap material.
- Perform hand assembly of components and finished products.
- Pack and prepare finished goods according to production requirements.
- Maintain workstation cleanliness and organization.
- Follow all safety and production procedures.
- Report equipment/ quality/ material/ and production issues to the appropriate supervisor.
- Learn additional equipment and processes as new products and machinery are introduced. Candidate Profile Preferred candidates will have some combination of
