Medical, dental, and vision insurance Company sponsored life and disability insurance 401(k) Safe Harbor plan with company match, 100% vested at 90 days Paid time off, vacation, sick time, personal days, and holidays Employee Assistance Program Training, development, and advancement opportunities within the company A Monday through Thursday, 10 hour shift schedule, with occasional Friday overtime, and major holidays off Job Details Set up and operate casting furnaces to cast gold, silver, and other precious metal alloys into finished products Charge and light furnaces, bring melt to correct pouring temperature, and control the pour using a hydraulic control system Work from production orders, process sheets, and verbal or written instructions Select, dress, position, and secure molds, and handle crucible work using proper heat resistant equipment Inspect finished castings, clean and prep crucibles and molds for the next pour Maintain accurate pyrometer chart records and production documentation Report mechanical or electrical issues and equipment defects to supervision promptly Support a strong safety culture, including reporting all incidents and near misses What you bring: High school diploma or equivalent, technical or vocational training a plus 1 to 3 years of experience with casting furnaces, crucibles, hydraulic controls, and molds Comfortable with precision measuring tools, micrometers and calipers Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability Able to read and interpret work orders, specifications, and production documentation Comfortable in a fast paced, production driven environment with changing priorities Interested in hearing more?
