Akkodis is seeking a Production Operator I for a Contract job with a client in Henrietta, NY . The ideal candidate will have experience in electronics assembly, soldering, and production manufacturing environments , along with a strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Rate Range:

$20/hour to $23/hour ; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors.

Production Operator I Job Responsibilities Include:

Assemble small to medium-sized electronic and mechanical components while performing fitting, alignment, adjustment, and precision assembly activities in accordance with established work instructions. Perform soldering, de-soldering, and rework activities on printed circuit boards and assemblies while ensuring compliance with quality and workmanship standards. Operate hand tools, power tools, fixtures, gauges, and production equipment to support assembly, testing, and manufacturing operations. Inspect, verify, and test completed assemblies using measuring and test equipment to ensure products meet engineering specifications and quality requirements. Troubleshoot and repair sub-assemblies and major assemblies by identifying defects, correcting issues, and ensuring products function as designed.

Desired Qualifications:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required. A minimum of three years of experience in electronics assembly, electromechanical assembly, manufacturing, or a related production environment. Demonstrated experience performing soldering, de-soldering, and rework activities on printed circuit boards and electronic assemblies. Experience using measuring and testing equipment such as micrometers, dial indicators, voltmeters, and other inspection tools. Working knowledge of ERP systems, Microsoft Office applications, and manufacturing processes within a production environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

IPC-A-610 and

J-STD-001

certifications are highly desirable. Experience performing SMT assembly, electronic component rework, and advanced soldering techniques within electronics manufacturing environments. Familiarity with mechanical, electrical, optical, and electronic assembly operations involving precision components.
