Job Description

Keep Production Moving. Keep Teams Aligned. We are seeking a highly organized and detail-driven Production Administrator to serve as the central communication hub between Scheduling, Finishing, and Fulfillment. This role ensures that jobs move efficiently through the plant by managing paperwork, tracking progress, and proactively communicating priorities, due dates, and potential delays. Position Summary The Production Administrator is responsible for coordinating job workflow across multiple departments, ensuring accuracy of production documentation, and maintaining clear communication between teams. This role supports on-time delivery by tracking orders, monitoring job status, and resolving workflow issues in partnership with production leadership. The position reports directly to the Director of Manufacturing . https://youtu.be/5wHadiWauow Key Responsibilities Assist with coordinating workflow between Scheduling, Finishing, and Fulfillment by tracking job status and communicating updates to help keep work moving through production Manage and maintain production paperwork, job tickets, and documentation for accuracy and completeness Track job status, due dates, and priorities across departments Communicate proactively with internal teams regarding schedule changes, delays, and job readiness Identify bottlenecks or risks in workflow and escalate issues to the Director of Manufacturing or appropriate leaders Ensure materials, components, and resources are aligned with production schedules Update systems and reports to reflect real-time job progress Assist with scheduling adjustments as needed to meet customer deadlines Support continuous improvement efforts related to workflow efficiency and communication Qualifications High school diploma required 2+ years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or print environment preferred Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple departments Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Teams); experience with production or ERP systems is a plus Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment Core Competencies Workflow Coordination & Process Management Communication & Team Collaboration Attention to Detail & Accuracy Problem Solving & Critical Thinking Time Management & Prioritization Work Environment Manufacturing/production floor and office environment Frequent interaction with production staff and leadership May require standing, walking, and moving between departments throughout the facility
