Hourly Primary Function Designing stock and custom requests via comms and emails. Provide quotes to our resource department and customers. Help with maintaining and developing SOP's and Prop 65 related items. Requirements High school Diploma or equivalent required. Excellent math skills in basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division and measuring Superior communication skills -verbal, nonverbal, written and reading comprehension to follow instructions on order sheets, in email and internal communication platform - COMMS Must be able to operate a PC and navigate basic computer functions such as Internet Applications and PC faxing. Advanced skills in Microsoft Office applications such as Excel, Outlook and Word required. Experience with Shoptech E2 software, P21 and Adobe Creative Cloud products. Experience with InDesign and/or Illustrator is highly desirable. Must be able to learn, retain and apply information about HCL products. Strong analytical, planning, problem solving skills with a high level of organization required. The ability to sit, stand or walk for a long period. Frequently using near vision in reading of work orders and while operating a PC. Operation of light industrial equipment and hand tools.
Frequently perform the following:
reach with both arms; twisting/turning; bending; kneeling; squatting; pushing; pulling; lifting; carrying and climbing ladders. Frequently lift and carry 11 to 20 lbs.; occasionally lift and carry 21 to 50 lbs.; team lifting above 50 lbs. as needed. Summary
RESPONSIBILITIES
Answer all comms related to Print Production in a timely manner. Provide proper and accurate costing on any comms that requires a cost update or new costing. Design and provide color accurate proofs to customers Must be able to learn and understand the abilities of all our machines so that the end user is getting the correct/most cost-effective product. Must be able to understand how our machines work and operate so SOP's can be created and maintained. Helping out with special projects and in other areas based upon staffing needs and workflow.
