Job Description
In this role, you will help ensure the efficient and uninterrupted operation of production processes. A successful machine operator is reliable, attentive to detail, and committed to following safety standards. On‑the‑job training is provided, so a willingness to learn and continuously improve is important. Being a team player is essential, as the role involves close collaboration with coworkers. The overall goal is to support smooth production operations that maximize efficiency and contribute to the company's success. Key Responsibilities Safe Work Practices Produce quality parts. Perform measurement checks and inspections at various stages of production to assure quality. Work from drawings and specifications on a work order. Use of , , etc. to inspect/measure/visually check parts to ensure they conform to specifications Math skills required for calculating and adjusting bends. Computer use to record, create, and print: routing tickets, work orders, quality checks, etc. Set up and operate all assembly equipment. Assist in equipment maintenance as directed. Produce and verify parts as outlined in procedures and work instructions in the department manual. Make Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor aware of changes needed to process routers and procedures, as necessary. Make Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor aware of safety issues and concerns. Perform general housekeeping duties as directed. Make Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor aware of any non-conformance in product. Perform duties as directed by Supervisor/Assistant Supervisor. Requirements
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced manufacturing or warehouse environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the shift.
- Must be able to lift 25-50 lbs. regularly (depending on company needs)
- Willingness to learn different tasks and rotate between workstations.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain quality standards.
- Basic math skills for counting, measuring, or recording production data.
- Ability to use simple hand tools or equipment (training provided)
- Ability to maintain a clean and safe work area.
- 6+ months of experience in manufacturing, production, assembly, or warehouse work (Preferred) Ability to learn basic manufacturing tasks through on‑the‑job training.
