Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Manufacturing Associate to join our dynamic team on the weekend shift. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to high-quality production processes within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, excellent attention to safety standards, and hands-on experience with manufacturing equipment. Your efforts will directly support efficient operations, continuous improvement initiatives, and the delivery of superior products to our customers. Duties Operate manufacturing machinery and equipment safely and efficiently, adhering strictly to safety protocols and standard operating procedures. Use hand tools, power tools, and measuring instruments to assemble components accurately according to technical drawings and production documentation. Manage manual handling tasks, including heavy lifting, ensuring proper techniques are used to prevent injury. Conduct quality checks using measuring instruments and ensure products meet specified tolerances and standards. Interpret technical drawings, assembly instructions, and process documentation to facilitate precise manufacturing operations. Maintain cleanliness and organization within the manufacturing area, supporting lean manufacturing principles. Assist with process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting enhancements for productivity. Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets while maintaining safety standards. Operate forklifts and warehouse equipment as needed for material handling and inventory management. Support manufacturing management by documenting production activities, tracking metrics, and ensuring compliance with safety standards. Experience Proven factory or manufacturing facility experience, preferably in an assembly line environment. Familiarity with manufacturing management systems, process improvement methodologies such as lean manufacturing, and safety standards in production settings. Hands-on experience with forklift operation, warehouse procedures, and manual handling techniques. Proficiency in interpreting technical drawings, using measuring instruments, and working with hand tools and power tools. Strong mechanical knowledge related to mechanical assembly and troubleshooting. Experience in managing production or assembly teams is a plus but not mandatory. Knowledge of safety protocol adherence in a manufacturing environment is essential. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining productivity standards. Prior experience with manufacturing documentation, quality control procedures, and continuous improvement initiatives. Pay:
$17.50 - $18.00 per hour
