Overview The Machining Line Leader is responsible for supporting daily operations within the Machining department by ensuring production, quality, safety, and environmental standards are met. This position serves as a subject matter expert of the line assigned Machining line, while supporting employee training and providing leadership and team members. Duties Lead and support daily machining department operations Manage all aspects of quality, safety, production and coaching opportunities Communicate and execute all change overs with Line Operators (General Associates) All end of shift information is accurate and recorded Train and assist associates on departmental procedures and work instructions Complete required production quality and assist in troubleshooting process issues Promote and maintain a safe work environment Support continuous improvement initiatives and departmental goals Implement process improvements using lean manufacturing principles to enhance efficiency and reduce waste Maintain accurate production documentation, including work orders, quality reports, and safety logs Skills Proven factory experience with an understanding of manufacturing environments and / or machining processes Familiarity with measuring instruments, technical drawings, and interpreting production documents Demonstrated ability to manage production effectively in a fast-paced setting Knowledge of safety standards in production environments, including safety protocol adherence and process improvement initiatives Ability to perform manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining safety compliance Experience in lean manufacturing practices and managing continuous process improvements is a plus Excellent communication skills to coordinate with team members and ensure smooth workflow Must be able to communicate effectively with associates, supervisors, engineering, quality, and management to ensure production, quality, safety and environmental requirements are met. Pay:

$21.81 - $25.32 per hour
