Press Brake Operator Location:
Johnstown, Ohio Position Overview We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. This position is responsible for setting up and operating press brake machinery to produce quality metal parts according to blueprints, work orders, and required specifications. Shifts Available 2nd
Shift:
2:45 PM - 11:00 PM 3rd
Shift:
10:45 PM - 7:00 AM Key Responsibilities Set up, operate, and adjust press brake machinery using the proper tooling, dies, and machine settings. Read and interpret blueprints, work orders, and production drawings to produce parts within required specifications and tolerances. Work with steel, aluminum, and various formed metal components. Inspect and measure completed parts using calipers, gauges, and other precision measuring tools to ensure quality. Perform basic machine troubleshooting and maintenance and report issues when necessary. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following all OSHA and company safety requirements. Package finished parts and assist with other manufacturing equipment and processes as needed after training. Maintain accurate production and quality records and meet established production and quality standards. Qualifications & Requirements Prior manufacturing or machine operator experience required . Press brake or metal fabrication experience strongly preferred . Ability to read and interpret blueprints and work orders. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to use basic precision measuring tools. Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn additional machinery. Dependable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to regularly lift up to 20 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Frequent standing, walking, reaching, and use of hands to handle materials, tools, and equipment throughout the workday. Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses, earplugs, and steel-toe or composite-toe boots.
