Job Description
About the Role As a Print Production Specialist, you will serve as a vital link between creative design and final output, ensuring that complex artwork is perfectly prepared for high-quality manufacturing. You will leverage your technical expertise in prepress workflows to drive efficiency, maintain color accuracy, and deliver superior results for our diverse packaging and label projects. Responsibilities Validate and optimize customer-supplied artwork to ensure seamless transition into the print production lifecycle. Execute preflight analysis to identify and rectify potential technical issues before they impact the manufacturing floor. Manage the imposition process and generate high-precision files for plate-making and final output. Produce and verify digital proofs to guarantee customer satisfaction and design integrity. Maintain rigorous color consistency by utilizing advanced calibration tools and industry-standard profiles. Coordinate with external partners for specialty tooling, including embossing and stamping dies. Collaborate cross-functionally with design teams and production staff to troubleshoot complex file requirements. Archive and retrieve production assets using automated systems to maintain an organized digital workflow. Required Skills Minimum of 3 years of professional experience in a prepress or print production environment. Advanced proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite, specifically Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign. Deep understanding of imposition, trapping, and file preparation for flexographic or offset printing. Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot technical artwork issues in a fast-paced manufacturing setting. Strong organizational skills with a commitment to high-quality output and detail. Preferred Skills Experience with ArtPro+ or similar specialized packaging prepress software. Familiarity with G7 color management methodology and Epson proofing systems. Technical background in folding cartons, flexible packaging, or label production. Degree or certification in Graphic Design, Packaging Technology, or a related discipline.
