Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Manufacturing Associate to join our dynamic production team. In this role, you will be integral to the manufacturing process, ensuring that products are assembled efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. - Stacking/Packer Responsibilities Operate manufacturing equipment including forklifts, power tools, and hand tools to support assembly and production activities Interpret technical drawings, production documents, and work instructions accurately to ensure precise assembly and quality control Use measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify component dimensions and ensure specifications are met Perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, material movement, and packaging while adhering to safety protocols Conduct mechanical assembly tasks with attention to detail, ensuring all parts are correctly fitted and secured Maintain a clean, organized work area in compliance with safety standards in production and lean manufacturing principles Assist in process improvement initiatives by identifying inefficiencies and suggesting solutions for workflow optimization Experience Prior factory or manufacturing facility experience is highly preferred Hands-on experience with assembly line operations or production environments is advantageous Familiarity with warehouse operations, inventory management, or logistics is a plus Knowledge of safety standards in production environments and adherence to safety protocol guidelines is essential Experience managing or supporting manufacturing teams or participating in process improvement projects is beneficial Mechanical knowledge combined with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments effectively is desirable Proficiency with power tools, hand tools, forklift operation certification, and manual handling skills are important for success in this role
