Production Associate - ExtrusionWorking in our manufacturing plant, the Production Associate plays a critical role in delivering high-quality products to our customers. In this hands-on position, you will support the vinyl extrusion process used in the production of windows and siding while ensuring quality, safety, and efficiency at every step. At Associated Materials, we believe excellent results begin with you.
Use material handling equipment safely and efficiently.
Pack, label, and prepare finished goods for shipment.
Inspect extruded product and equipment; promptly communicate quality or equipment issues.
Maintain a clean, organized, and well-maintained work area; perform required housekeeping.
Follow and uphold all safety standards and procedures.
Perform other duties assigned, including cross-training to become proficient across multiple positions and production lines.
Perform tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to read and comprehend English language.
Ability to use hand tools such as snips or chisel.
Must be able to use, understand, and thoroughly read a tape measure.
Be dependable and on-time with attendance.
Be flexible and willing to learn, including cross-training and developing in other areas in the plantMust be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
