Press Operator -
Manual Mill Pay:
$17.00 - $21.00/hourOpenings:
3Shifts:
1st, 2nd, 3rd We are looking for dependable, detail-oriented Press Operators to join our manufacturing team. This position falls under our Manual Mill operation and is not a traditional stamping press role . The Press Operator will operate a manual mill/press setup to position, align, and press parts into precise locations or shapes according to blueprint specifications. The ideal candidate will be comfortable reading blueprints, using standard measuring tools, and working with manual manufacturing equipment to produce accurate, high-quality parts. Responsibilities Read and follow blueprints , work orders, and job instructions. Position, align, and secure parts for pressing operations. Operate and monitor manual mill/press equipment. Press parts into precise locations or shapes according to specifications. Use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions and locations. Inspect completed parts to ensure they meet blueprint and quality requirements. Make machine or process adjustments as needed to maintain accuracy and quality. Use hand tools and change tooling as required. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements. Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous manufacturing, machining, or press experience is a plus. Experience using hand tools. Ability to read and understand blueprints. Ability to use calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other standard measuring tools. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good communication and problem-solving skills. Dependable, organized, and willing to learn. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for extended periods throughout the shift. Ability to lift up to 70 lbs. Ability to wear required PPE. Ability to work in varying temperatures. Ability to safely work around manufacturing equipment.
