Job Description

Parts Floater (Overnight)
Shift:
Overnight (8:00 PM - 5:00 AM)
Starting Pay:
$17.00-$20.00/hour + $3.00/hour shift differentialAction Group Staffing is seeking a dependable Parts Floater to join our overnight production team. This position supports multiple areas of manufacturing by moving between workstations as needed. The ideal candidate will have CNC experience, be able to read blueprints, use precision measuring tools, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

ResponsibilitiesFloat between departments to support production needs.

Operate and assist with CNC-related production tasks.

Read and interpret blueprints and work instructions.

Use calipers, tape measures, and other measuring tools to verify dimensions.

Lift and move materials weighing up to 75 pounds repeatedly.

Maintain quality standards while assisting multiple production areas.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.

Perform other duties as assigned.

RequirementsPrevious CNC or manufacturing experience required.

Ability to read blueprints and production drawings.

Proficient with calipers, tape measures, and basic measuring tools.

Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Ability to repeatedly lift up to 75 pounds.

Dependable attendance and reliable transportation.

Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen.

Compensation & BenefitsStarting pay of $17.00-$20.00/hour, based on experience.$3.00/hour shift differential for overnight employees.

Eligible temp-to-hire employees receive a $1.00/hour attendance incentive after 30 days of employment.
