Full Job Description Metal Receiver/Sorter Pay:

$18.50/hr

We are hiring a Metal Buyer for a local recycling plant in Hillsboro. This is a great opportunity for someone interested in recycling who enjoys working with customers and has strong math and communication skills. Join a supportive team that values hard work, honesty, and community. Schedule will be Monday through Friday during training then will be moved to a Tuesday - Saturday schedule.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and buy various metal grades from customers, ensuring accurate classification and fair pricing. Provide excellent customer service and assist with inquiries related to metal recycling. Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately. Maintain accurate records of purchases and inventory. Perform basic math calculations to determine metal values and pricing.

Qualifications:

Familiarity with different metal grades and their values. Previous experience in cashiering and customer service roles. Strong math skills with the ability to perform calculations accurately. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Attention to detail and strong organizational abilities. Benefits Offered to
