Overview We are seeking a dynamic and proactive Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee daily operations within our manufacturing facility. This role is vital in ensuring production processes run smoothly, safely, and efficiently while maintaining high-quality standards. As a Manufacturing Team Lead, you will motivate and guide your team, implement process improvements, and uphold safety protocols to foster a productive and compliant work environment. Your leadership will directly impact our ability to meet production targets and deliver exceptional products to our customers. Responsibilities Lead and manage manufacturing team members on the assembly line, ensuring tasks are completed accurately and efficiently. Coordinate daily production schedules, monitor workflow, and adjust staffing as needed to meet deadlines. Enforce safety standards in production areas, conduct safety training sessions, and ensure adherence to safety protocols at all times. Utilize measuring instruments, technical drawings, and manufacturing documents to verify product specifications and quality standards. Operate and oversee the use of power tools, hand tools, forklifts, and other equipment safely and effectively. Conduct manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting while maintaining proper ergonomic practices. Drive continuous process improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing principles to reduce waste and optimize productivity. Skills Proven experience in factory or manufacturing facility environments with a strong understanding of production processes. Mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and use measuring instruments accurately. Hands-on experience with assembly line operations, mechanical assembly, and the use of hand tools and power tools. Skilled in managing production or assembly teams with excellent leadership capabilities. Familiarity with safety standards in production environments, including heavy lifting procedures and manual handling techniques. Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices and process improvement strategies to enhance efficiency. Ability to interpret production documents, technical drawings, and quality control specifications confidently.
