$20.00-$23.00/hour to start Position Overview Superior Skilled Trades is seeking a Manufacturing Associate - Fabrication/Assembly/Sewing for an immediate opening in Aston, PA. This hands-on position includes fabrication, mechanical assembly, industrial sewing, and shipping & receiving in a manufacturing environment. Products include rigging equipment made from synthetic materials, steel cable, and chain used for heavy lifting and cargo securement applications. We are seeking dependable, mechanically inclined individuals who take pride in quality workmanship and enjoy working with their hands. Responsibilities Fabricate and assemble rigging products using synthetic materials, steel cable, and chain. Perform mechanical assembly using hand and power tools. Operate production equipment safely and efficiently. Cut, measure, inspect, and assemble products to specifications. Perform industrial sewing of synthetic webbing and related materials (training available). Assist with shipping and receiving, including packaging, labeling, and preparing orders for shipment. Load and unload raw materials and finished products. Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area. Follow all company safety policies and procedures. Work independently and as part of a team to meet production goals. Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Previous manufacturing, assembly, warehouse, or industrial experience preferred. Industrial sewing experience is strongly preferred but not required. Mechanically inclined with experience using hand and power tools. Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math. Strong attention to detail and quality. Ability to lift, move, and handle materials throughout the shift. Reliable transportation. Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check. Must wear required PPE, including safety glasses and work boots. Physical Requirements Ability to stand, walk, bend, push, pull, and lift throughout the workday. Ability to perform repetitive tasks in a manufacturing environment. Comfortable working in a production facility with moderate noise levels.
