Base pay starts at $16.00/hr and can go up from there based on how many pieces you run per hour. Duties Operate and monitor stamping presses and auxiliary equipment to produce metal parts according to specifications. Conduct routine inspections of stamped components using precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to verify quality standards. Follow safety protocols diligently while handling material, welding operations, and assembly tasks to maintain a secure work environment. Assist with quality inspection processes by measuring parts with micrometers or other precision instruments to meet strict tolerances. Support continuous improvement initiatives by documenting production data, identifying issues, and suggesting process enhancements. Skills Proficiency in operating stamping presses and press brake equipment. Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers, micrometers, micrometer gauges, and other quality inspection tools. (will provide training) Basic math skills for measurements, calculations related to machining tolerances, and process adjustments. Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality assurance throughout the production cycle.
