Job Description

Local Window Manufacturing Company is seeking skilled candidates to fill open positions in our production facility. Competitive Pay and Great Benefits!!! 4 Day Work week 1st Shift - Monday thru
Thursday Hours:
6:00 am to 4:00 pm Job Description Performs production and fabrication related processes along a custom window production line. Will be required to work alone or in a team to produce product.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
Uses work order information, drawings, and templates. Operates a variety of machines and tools. Responsible for quality control. Makes adjustments as necessary to produce product within specification. Reject product out of specification. Work within Work Instruction and Control Plan guidelines. Follow job safety guidelines. Mark product and document any quality control and worksheet information. Communicate with operators from departments. Clean and maintain work area. Maintain and turn off equipment when not in use. Perform other duties as assigned.
ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Assist operators in other areas as needed. Work in other departments. Provide on-the-job training to new employees. Order materials when needed. Notify Supervisor for replacement tools or fixturing. Participate in Continuous Quality improvements by assessing procedures, processes, and practices to promote change.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS
Basic reading, writing, and arithmetic skills required. This is normally acquired through a high school diploma or equivalent. Manual dexterity required for set-up and bending of frames. Demonstrated skills in the use of and ability to use a tape measure. Conversion of fractions and decimals.
WORKING CONDITIONS
Working conditions require that operators work with multiple pieces of manufacturing equipment. Work involves frequent lifting of tooling and pulling or pushing. Lifting and handling of materials could range from thirty (30) pounds up to one-hundred (100) pounds. The job required the use of safety equipment to include but not limited to steel toed boots, aprons, and gloves and hearing protection.
