  • Job Title:
    General Production Worker
  • Job Description
  • This role involves operating within a coin processing facility where you load and unload coin wraps and bags, feed them into machines for separation and wrapping, and ensure smooth, continuous production. You will handle heavy materials, work on your feet throughout the shift, and use basic mechanical skills to keep equipment such as wheels and containers in good working order.
  • Responsibilities
  • + Load and unload coin wraps, bags, and large barrels of coins and place them into coin separator machines for processing and wrapping.
+ Handle and move 50-pound bags of coins regularly, with occasional maneuvering of containers weighing up to several hundred pounds using appropriate equipment. + Remain on your feet for the full 8-hour shift while moving containers and materials, sometimes up to 100 feet within the facility. + Monitor coin processing and packaging equipment to maintain consistent workflow and identify issues promptly. + Use basic mechanical aptitude to perform minor adjustments and simple fixes on wheels, containers, and related equipment as needed. + Follow established production, general labor, and packaging procedures to meet daily output and quality goals. + Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with facility safety policies and procedures. + Adhere to all security protocols, including screening procedures when entering and exiting the facility, and follow all guidelines related to handling coins. + Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to support efficient operations and assist in other production tasks as required.
  • Essential Skills
  • + Previous experience in a production or warehouse environment.
+ Ability to lift and regularly handle 50-pound bags of coins and safely maneuver heavier containers using provided equipment. + Comfort working on your feet for an entire 8-hour shift in a fast-paced production setting. + Mechanical inclination with the ability to perform basic adjustments and minor repairs on wheels, containers, and related equipment. + Experience with general production, general labor, or packaging tasks. + Ability to follow detailed safety, security, and operational procedures consistently.

  • + Interest in learning additional responsibilities within production operations. + Ability to work effectively in a loud, high-activity environment while maintaining focus and attention to detail. + Strong reliability and punctuality to support continuous production schedules. + Comfort working with security measures such as metal detectors or wands when entering and exiting the facility.

The environment is very loud, and the company provides ear plugs, safety glasses, and an optional back brace to support your safety and well-being. You will be on your feet for an 8-hour shift, frequently moving containers and materials across the floor. Due to the nature of handling coins, you cannot wear pants with pockets, and you will go through security screening with a wand when entering and exiting the facility, similar to airport procedures. The setting emphasizes safety, security, and adherence to established dress and equipment guidelines.
