Job Overview We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Production Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for setup and operation of lumber manufacturing equipment. You will also be responsible for monitoring and maintaining a variety of industrial machinery and equipment. various industrial machines to ensure efficient production processes. Responsibilities Conduct precise measurements using calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and other precision measuring instruments to ensure parts meet dimensional tolerances Troubleshoot industrial equipment issues promptly to minimize downtime and maintain continuous production flow. Perform routine maintenance and safety checks on machinery in accordance with safety standards in production. Handle materials and tools safely using forklifts and other materials handling equipment; assist with packaging and assembly line tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to meet production goals while maintaining high quality standards and adhering to factory safety protocols. Skills Familiarity with shop math, factory experience, manufacturing processes, tooling setup, and materials handling procedures. Ability to interpret technical drawings and manufacturing specifications accurately while maintaining safety standards in production environments. Skilled in using precision measurement tools such as micrometers, calipers, dial indicators. Excellent troubleshooting skills related to industrial equipment; capable of diagnosing issues efficiently. Knowledge of packaging processes and assembly line operations; experience with hand tools is a plus. Strong mechanical knowledge combined with factory experience ensures effective operation of complex machinery within a manufacturing setting.
