3010168379-2 Apply for this job now Job Description Cargill is seeking an Assistant Team Lead to support day-to-day operations in our manufacturing facility. In this role, you will help coordinate production activities, assign tasks, and monitor output to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency standards are met. You'll coach and train associates, support adherence to strict safety and food-quality protocols, and assist with troubleshooting equipment or process issues. Working closely with supervisors and cross-functional teams, you'll contribute to continuous improvement and help drive Cargill's mission of safe, sustainable food production. Responsibilities Support the Team Lead in coordinating daily manufacturing operations on the production floor Assign tasks, monitor workflow, and adjust resources to meet production targets and quality standards Train, coach, and mentor production associates on safety, procedures, and best practices Enforce Cargill's safety protocols and perform regular checks to maintain a safe work environment Monitor equipment and materials, escalating maintenance or supply issues as needed Track production data, prepare basic reports, and communicate performance updates to supervisors Identify process issues or bottlenecks and suggest improvements for efficiency and waste reduction Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support continuous improvement initiatives Required Skills Production scheduling Manufacturing operations Safety compliance (OSHA/food safety) Quality control Lean manufacturing/continuous improvement Data entry and basic reporting Equipment troubleshooting coordination Team leadership and coaching Standard operating procedures (SOPs) Microsoft Office (Excel/Word)
