Plant Lead (New Eagle Location)

Description:

The Plant Lead is cross trained to lead multiple departments, perform all aspects of preparing and operating the production line equipment, including loading and unloading product, gathering samples, inspecting and preparing product for shipment. Responsible for safe and efficient manufacturing of the departments production employees. Maintains clean, safe work environment. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision. Follow all standard operating procedures regarding equipment and manufacturing of product, maintain and complete all paperwork, maintain area housekeeping and safety.

Knowledge:

A high school diploma or equivalent. Previous manufacturing, warehouse, forklift, or other related experience. Able to use scales and various measuring tools. Able to perform basic math skills, read and understand work instructions including formulations.

Skills/Abilities:

Operate various types of material handling equipment such as forklifts, conveyors, hoists, hoppers, and totes.. Communication, interpersonal, adaptability, ability to learn quickly, initiative, integrity, customer and quality focus, judgment/problem-solving, safety awareness.

Physical/Mental:

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Must be able to withstand the physical pressures of constant standing, walking, bending, climbing, kneeling, crouching, reaching, sitting, extremes of hot and cold, as well as carrying, lifting, pushing and pulling heavy objects, work in environment of airborne dust particles, vibrations, and moving mechanical parts.

General:

Will work overtime as needed. May require working rotating shifts.

Shifts:

($18/hr-$19/hr) Shift availability discussed during interview.

Pay:

$18.00 - $19.00 per hour
