Job Title:

Production Helper Job Description Assist with the production of aluminum powder by loading raw materials into machines, removing metal, and operating screening/blending equipment. This is an outdoor role requiring comfort with working in the elements, including extreme heat and cold. Responsibilities Load raw materials into machines and remove metal. Screen, blend, and pack aluminum powder into 55-gallon drums, Supersacs, or railcars. Operate blending towers and assist with furnace, screen, and blending operations. Move packed materials as part of logistics and maintenance duties. Perform general housekeeping duties to maintain plant cleanliness. Adhere to strict safety protocols in a manufacturing environment, working in varied weather conditions. Essential Skills General production experience. Mechanical aptitude. Experience with general labor, production, construction, assembly, forklift, hand tools, power tools, machine operating, inspection, math, and concrete. Ability to operate machinery. Familiarity with using a tape measure. Additional Skills & Qualifications Physical stamina to lift 50 lbs and climb three flights of stairs to blending towers multiple times during a shift. Willingness to work a 2-12 hour, 24/7 rotating shift schedule. Comfortable working outdoors in extreme heat and cold, with access to small buildings to warm up or cool down. The role operates on a 2-2-3 schedule from 6:45 to 7, rotating days and nights every 28 days. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Palmerton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $26.10/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
