Job Description
Phase 2 Events is seeking a dependable, physically capable Event Production & Content Assistant for weddings and special events. This is a part-time, long-term weekend position with events throughout Philadelphia, the surrounding Pennsylvania suburbs, New Jersey, and Delaware. Applicants located near Warminster or the surrounding area are preferred. This is not a DJ-training position. Primary responsibilities include meeting the team directly at each venue; unloading, setting up, breaking down, and reloading professional DJ, sound, lighting, and video equipment; assisting during events; and capturing high-quality vertical iPhone video for Instagram Reels and Stories. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, professional, comfortable working around wedding guests and vendors, and available for most Friday, Saturday, and occasional Sunday events. Applicants must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, and the ability to travel independently to different event venues. Applicants must be able to repeatedly lift and carry equipment weighing up to 75 pounds and assist with team-lifting heavier or oversized equipment, with or without reasonable accommodation. Experience creating social media content, filming Instagram Reels, or working in event production is strongly preferred but not required. Equipment and event-procedure training will be provided. Assignments generally run 8-12 hours. Event days usually include periods of downtime after setup, but the assistant must remain onsite and available throughout the assignment. Compensation ranges from $200-$300 per event based on experience, availability, content-creation ability, and level of responsibility. A meal is provided during applicable wedding assignments. Applicants should include their location, weekend availability, relevant work experience, and links to any social media videos or Reels they have personally filmed.
