Coffee Production & Packaging Specialist Location:

Monday-Thursday Overview Join the Mill Creek Coffee team at our West Middlesex production plant, where we roast and package thousands of pounds of coffee each week. This hands-on position focuses on packaging coffee, checking product quality, and preparing finished cases for shipment. You'll learn our coffees and how production moves from roasting and grinding through packaging. As you gain experience, you'll also learn to operate selected packaging equipment and use handheld scanning devices to keep inventory accurate. Duties Collect finished coffee packets from the packaging conveyor, count the correct quantity, and pack them into the appropriate boxes. Check packets for proper seals, labels, and overall quality, reporting any issues promptly. Label completed cases and place them on carts for storage or shipment. Learn to identify our coffee varieties, package sizes, and case quantities to ensure orders are packed correctly. Learn to operate and monitor equipment that measures ground coffee and packages it into individual portion bags, known as frac packs. Use handheld devices to input products and record inventory movements accurately in our Shopify-connected system. Follow production schedules and coordinate with the roasting and grinding team to keep packaging moving efficiently. Keep workstations and equipment clean, organized, and stocked with packaging supplies. Follow food safety and workplace safety procedures, reporting equipment problems to the appropriate team member. Qualifications Strong attention to detail, especially when counting, labeling, and tracking inventory. Comfortable performing repetitive packing tasks and working on your feet throughout the shift. Basic math skills and confidence using handheld scanners or a willingness to learn. Dependable attendance and availability Monday-Thursday. Ability to work efficiently with a team and follow production instructions. Willingness to learn our coffees, production process, and safe equipment operation. Production, packaging, warehouse, or food manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. We're looking for someone reliable who takes pride in accurate work and wants to learn as our coffee production business grows.

Pay:

$17.50 - $24.50 per hour
